Pizzetta with Spanish Fresh Cheese

Serves 4



  • 4 pita bread or small pizza crusts
  • 2 medium plum tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 wedge Spanish Fresh Queso Fresco Cheese, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 12 black olives, pitted



Preheat the oven to 450°F.


On each pita bread:  arrange the tomato slices, then the sliced Spanish Fresh Queso Fresco cheese, next sprinkle the oregano, and finally place the black olives. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.


Place in the oven until the cheese bubbles—about 5 minutes.   Remove from the oven, slice into quarters and serve.
